What a good mortgage review looks like

NZMAI · · 1 min read

A rate is the easiest thing to talk about and the least useful thing to lead with. The advisers who get the most out of a review start with what has changed for the client, then work back to structure, then to rate.

That order matters because it puts the conversation on ground the client can actually judge. Most people cannot say whether a rate is good. Everyone can say whether their situation has changed.
